Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas with both families.  My parents were in town for a week and we stayed busy doing lots of projects around the house and getting ready for Christmas.  Blair and my dad installed a tv in our kitchen, they are such handymen!  Then they put together the crib, which was really exciting.  Blair had painted the baby's room a few weeks ago, all he has left to do is install the chair rail.  He's doing such a great job!

On Christmas Eve Blair and I went to church with John and Gala, then went back to their house for presents.  On Christmas morning we got up and had breakfast and presents with Kristen, John, and Debbie.  It was so much fun!  We spent the rest of the day relaxing and cooking Christmas dinner.  All day I kept thinking about how different next year will be when we have an 8 month old to play with on Christmas day, I can't wait!

I really enjoyed having my parents here, it was so great for them to be in Dallas and help us get the house ready for the baby.  My dad did so many home improvement projects for me and Kristen, and there is no way I could have managed all of the cooking and cleaning without my mom.  She is an entertaining expert!

Here are some holiday pictures:

Santa brought Lanie a wreath-shaped rawhide bone that kept her busy while we opened presents!
